Japanese man plunges to death from Silom building

A Japanese man fell to death from the 10th parking floor of a highrise in Silom area in Bangkok on Saturday morning.

Thung Mahamek police said after being reported of the incident at 8.30am, they found a Japanese man in his 60s lying face-down with limbs at odd angles on the entrance to a parking space of a 50-storey office building, according to Thai media.

The body was later sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.

Initial investigation revealed the man walked from the ground floor of the building to the 10th parking floor before he was found dead. There was not ID on the body, Thai Rath Online reported.
