HM the King makes merit to mark 50 days of mourning

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on Friday led a merit-making ceremony at the Grand Palace to mark the 50th day of mourning for King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The King, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali and other royal family members, arrived at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall inside the Grand Palace for the religious ceremony on Friday morning.

Merit-making ceremonies were also held across the country to mark the 50th day of mourning for King Bhumibol.

The late King Rama IX passed away on Oct 13.
