Tuk-tuk driver, friend accused of raping Australian woman

Bangkok police are hunting down a tuk-tuk driver and his friend who allegedly raped a 23-year-old Australian woman near a deserted building in Taling Chan area.

The young woman filed a complaint with Taling Chan police station. She accused the unnamed driver of a tuk-tuk and another man of sexually assaulting her in scrubland near the deserted Watchajak building on Soi Boromratchonnanee 43 in Taling Chan district around 4am on Dec 5,  Khaosod Online reported on Friday.

A team of Taling police and investigators from the Metropolitan Police Division 7 have begun an intensive search for the two men. 

People living in the  vicinity of the assault were being questioned and  closed-circuit television camera footage examined for evidence, the report said.
