PATHUM THANI -- Sections of broken concrete piles have been laid across a road along a canal on one side of Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Khlong Luang district near gate No.15, obstructing traffic.

The move followed a report yesterday that authorities had applied for a court warrant to search the temple and arrest Phra Dhammajayo, the embattled former abbot wanted under three arrest warrants.

As of Tuesday morning, gate No.7 of the temple was only half open, with sitting monks obstructing entry.  Reporters continued to gather in front of the gate, believing the search is imminent.

From gate No.5, a large number of disciples were seen sitting on the road, most wearing masks.
