Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha went to the southern province of Songkhla to inspect water management and visit flood victims on Thursday.
His delegation arrived at Wing 56 in Khlong Hoi Khong district on Thursday morning. It included the ministers of interior and agriculture.
The prime minister then boarded a helicopter to Ranot district where he inspected irrigation facilities and handed out assistance to flood victims.
Gen Prayut's return trip was set for 3pm.
