A bride who vented her frustration on social media over her bad makeup on her most important day got a wonderful surprise - free professional makeup and a wedding photo re-shoot on Monday at the couple's home in Chai Nat’s Hankha district.

Darika Klinkuhlab opted for a package rate offered by a recently opened shop near her home for makeup and rented costumes for the bride and groom for her wedding on May 13. She thought it was more convenient than going to her regular beauty shop, which was much further away.
On the big day, she went to the shop around noon, and then had to hang around for about three hours before the makeup artist even began work. She did not finish until just before the wedding started at 4pm.
Although she was disappointed with the result, it was too late to have her makeup done again, so the unhappy bride went through the ceremony while trying hard to keep smiling.
Afterwards, she posted her wedding photo online and warned other brides-to-be to make sure they choose the right shop and makeup artist - or they may regret it on their wedding day. Her story was widely shared.
Ms Darika told Bangkok Post Online she was then contacted by a professional photographer with the Facebook account Park Eun Young. He offered to bring his team, with a makeup artist and hairdresser and new wedding costumes, to recreate the day. He promised her a wonderful memory of her big day - and free of charge.
At first she refused the offer, realising her home in Chai Nat is a long way from Bangkok. But the photographer and his team insisted. They arrived at Ms Darika’s house on Monday afternoon and spent more than three hours on the makeup and photo shoot.
Park Eun Young posted on his Facebook account on Monday, saying how happy his team was to help bring happiness and new beauty to the young newlyweds.
