NONTHABURI - Six workers were injured when scaffolding collapsed at the construction site of a furniture store chain in Nonthaburi’s Bang Yai district on Tuesday.
A section of scaffolding 3-4 metres long at the Ikea store construction site in Bang Yai dropped without warning around 11am. Six workers standing on it fell to the ground and were hurt. They were rushed to Bang Yai Hospital, Thai media reported.
Officials from the Nonthaburi disaster prevention and mitigation office hurried to inspect the site and the building.
