7-Eleven, Makro to also close early on cremation day

All 7-Eleven convenience stores will close from mid-afternoon on Oct 26 and wholesaler Makro's branches will also close early, the companies said on Monday.

The Charoen Pokphand Group  group announced its 7-Eleven stores will close from 2.30pm to midnight on the day of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej's cremation.

All True Shop stores, except its airport branches, will also close from  2.30pm and CP Fresh Mart branches  will shut their doors from 3pm on that day.

Siam Makro Plc announced the closure of all its stores from 3pm

They join other businesses which will close for the full day or end operations early on Oct 26 to allow staff to pay their last respects to the revered late King.
