Police have arrested two Myanmar men for allegedly killing their duck-farmer employers in Ratchaburi province on Monday to steal 150,000 baht.

In a press conference at the Photharam police station in Ratchaburi Thursday, Pol Maj Gen Veerapong Chuenpakdi, acting commissioner of the Provincial Police Region 7, announced the arrests of Yao, 26, and Ek, 16.
They were arrested while allegedly on their run after killing Chukiat Nimnual, 65, and his 35-year-old Myanmar wife Tienda Yang at their duck farm in Soi Fa sub-district of Photharam district.
Mr Yao said that he, Ek and two other Myanmar workers (identified as Chu and Lek) had drunk and planned the robbery and murder just before committing the crime. They wanted the 150,000 baht in cash the couple had just earned from selling duck eggs.
The dead man's daughter, Boonta Nimnuan, 35, earlier had told police that her father had told an animal-feed salesman he could collect payment for his 100,00 baht bill on Monday. During the conversation, three Myanmar workers were sorting eggs nearby, said Ms Boonta.
Police said the Myanmar woman was stabbed first as she opened the door. Then they repeatedly stabbed Mr Chukiat while he was sleeping.
The four fled on Mr Chukiat's motorcycles, which were then parked at a petrol station in Ban Luek sub-district of Photharam. Afterward, the suspects hired a pick-up truck to take them to Sangkhla Buri district of Kanchanaburi province.
They split. The arrested two fled to Bangkok. Chu and Lek remained at large on Thursday.
Pol Maj Gen Veerapong warned employers not to let their workers know how much money they had, for their own safety. The re-enactment of the crime took place with the two arrested suspects on Thursday.
