An American man fell to his death from the 27th floor of a condominium building in Pattaya on Wednesday morning.
Police found his body near the swimming pool on the third floor of the View Talay Central Pattaya condominium. They found no documents or identification on his body, Thai media reported.
However, when they checked the balcony facing the lift on the 27th floor from where he fell, they found his passport and a handwritten note.
Condo staff said the 52-year-old man did not live in the condo and they did not know who he was.
He was seen lying on his side on a ledge outside a window before rolling off and falling.
Poilice later concluded the death was suicide.
