Water pouring down from the Ban Thad mountain range flooded into Na Yong and Muang Trang districts of Trang. It is the second time the area has been flooded this month.

Floodwater spread through Chong, Lamor and Na Yong Nua sub-districts of Na Yong district and Na Yong Tai sub-district of Muang Trang district. Rubber and oil palm plantations, paddy fields and roads in villages were inundated. Local roads were 10-20 centimetres under water and flood currents were strong in some areas.

In Narathiwat, runoff from the Sankalakhiri mountain range caused the Sungai Kolok River to overflow in Sungai Kolok municipality, with many local communities flooded.

Some residents left their houses to stay with relatives elsewhere, but others were using boats to stock their houses with groceries as they expected the flooding to get worse.

Dozens of houses were flooded with the water 20-30 centimetres deep in Sungai Kolok municipality.
