Road closures near Sanam Luang

Royal Guard to parade to honour His Majesty the King

Roads near Sanam Luang in central Bangkok will be closed on Nov 28 and 29, and also on Dec 2, so that soldiers of the Royal Guard can parade in honour of His Majesty the King.

On Nov 28, the closure is from noon to 4pm and affects on Phra Chan Road and Maha Rat Road, next to the Navy Club.

On Nov 29 and Dec 2 the closure is from 4am to 4pm on Lak Muang, Kalayana Maitri, Charoen Krung, Saran Rom, Phra Phiphit, Setthakan, Chetuphon, Thai Wang, Maha Rat (next to the Grand Palace and Wat Maha That), Phra Chan, Phraya Phet, Na Phra Lan, Na Phra That, Rachini and Phra Arthit roads.

On the same days, Sanam Chai and Ratchadamnoen Nai roads will be closed from 8am to 4pm.

The activities will honour His Majesty the King, whose birthday is on Dec 5.
