A woman was killed when her pickup truck skidded off the road and overturned on Kanchana ring road while she was heading to Ayutthaya’s Bang Pa-in district, with one of her high-heel shoes stuck in the brake pedal.

After being alerted, police and rescue workers of the Ruamkatanyu Foundation rushed to the scene in front of Bueng Maruay restaurant at Km 59 on Thursday night and found the woman trapped in the overturned black pickup truck, Thai media reported on Saturday.
The dead woman, who has yet to be identified, was taken out from the vehicle. One of her high-heel shoes was found stuck in the brake pedal.
Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
