King 'getting stronger' says bureau

His Majesty is getting stronger with no sign of inflammation of any organs, the Royal Household Bureau says.

In its 12th statement issued Monday night, the bureau said the committee of physicians performed a medical exam and the results shows the King is in good health.

According to the bureau, His Majesty, who experienced inflammation of the diverticulum of the large intestine in early November, has no fever and no longer suffers abdominal pain. His heartbeat and breathing are normal.

An ultrasound of the abdomen showed no signs of inflammation while blood test results were also normal. Doctors stopped prescribing antibiotics some time ago.

The bureau said the committee of physicians has agreed that His Majesty's general condition has improved. He is able to eat more and sleep well.
