BMA officials injured in tour bus crash

Twenty-one Bangkok city officials were injured, three seriously, when a bus they were travelling in overturned in Surat Thani before dawn on Wednesday.

The air-conditioned bus, carrying 43 people from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Thawi Watthana district office to southern Krabi province, overturned at an intersection in Khian Sa district on Road No 44 (southern seaboard) in tambon Khaotok about 5.25am on Wednesday, said police. 

The crash injured 21 passengers, three of them seriously. Rescue workers from the Kusol Sattha foundation took the injured to two nearby hospitals.

Police were investigating.
