Petrol prices, except for gasohol 91, E85 and diesel, have been cut by 0.30 baht a litre, effective on Wednesday.
The Energy Policy Administration Committee (EPAC) made the decision on Tuesday as world oil prices continued to fall, Energy Minister Narongchai Akrasanee said.
The policy makers also raised the duty to the Oil Fund collected from diesel by another 0.70 baht a litre to 2.45 baht and from gasohol 91 by 0.30 baht. The increases would not affect their retail prices.
