The king left the Chalermphrakiat Building of Siriraj Hospital for the shop at 4.19pm. There, he observed the operation of the Golden Place convenience store and bought milk produced by the royal Suan Chitralada Dairy Farm along with some ice cream and fruit.

Golden Place is a Thai-owned retailing chain operated by Suvarnachad Co, a company under the patronage of His Majesty. It focuses on healthy farm products and other high-quality consumer products at reasonable prices.

The King later visited the Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine on the seventh floor of Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital. He spent some time drinking tea and looking at scenic view along the Chao Phraya River before returning to Siriraj Hospital at 5pm amid cheering crowds and the loud chanting of “Long Live the King” along the route.
