A fire broke out at Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) Park Plaza on Ratchadaphisek Road on Saturday night, Police Radio FM 91 station reported.
According to the report, the blaze started on the 10th floor of the building at about 10pm.
Firefighters rushed to SCB's head office to keep the fire from spreading. They managed to keep the blaze under control about an hour later.
There were no reports of deaths or injuries.
Sources from SCB said the 10th floor was an office for some staff and no important documents were kept there.
