Scattered thunderstorms can be expected over much of northern Thailand today and tomorrow, the Meteorological Department announced on Thursday.
A high pressure area from China remains over the upper part of Thailand and the South China Sea, while a westerly trough from Myanmar moves across the North.
As a result, from today until tomorrow, thunderstorms, along with gusting winds and some hail, are expected over the upper part of Thailand, particularly the North and the Central regions.
People should be prepared and stay away from big trees, advertising signboards and unstable structures during a storm, the warning said.
