A rather strong high pressure area over upper Vietnam is expected to reach the upper Northeast of Thailand on Tuesday afternoon and to extend over upper Thailand until April 25, according to a Meteorological Department warning issued at 11am Tuesday.
Summer thunderstorms, including gusty winds and some hail, are expected over upper Thailand during the period when the temperature should drop by 7-10 degrees Celsius.
This type of weather will affect the Northeast during April 21-23; the North, Central and eastern part of Thailand during April 22-25; and the South from April 23-25.
