The Thai Embassy in Kathmandu has reported that all of 60 or so Thais living in Nepal are safe, although some sustained minor injuries in the devastating, Foreign Ministry spokesman Sek Wannamethi said on Sunday.
Mr Sek said the embassy had checked hotels and important tourist spots to find out if any Thai people or tourists were at those spots and needed help.
About 10 Thais had reported to the embassy in Kathmandu, he said.
The Consular Affairs Department has opened hotline 085-911-4067 for Thais to contact their relatives in Nepal.
