Their Majesties the King and Queen arrived at Klai Kangwon Palace in Prachuap Khiri Khan on Sunday afternoon.

Their Majesties, accompanied by members of the royal family, departed Siriraj Hospital at 2pm as they sought a change of atmosphere and to recuperate at the Hua Hin palace.

Well-wishers wearing yellow waited ahead of time along the royal motorcade route amid the summer heat, from Siriraj Hospital to Klai Kangwon Palace hoping to catch a glimpse of their revered monarch and queen.

At 3.59pm, massive yellow-clad crowds -- many of whom had travelled from other provinces -- gathered around the Klai Kangwon Palace, waving national and royal flags and holding up pictures of Their Majesties. They chanted “Love Live The King and Queen” when the royal vans of the King and Queen approached the palace’s entrance.

On May 5, Udom Kachintorn, president of Mahidol University, who provides medical care to Their Majesties, said they were both in good health.

Their Majesties left Hua Hin on Oct 3 last year to enter Siriraj Hospital after royal physicians found His Majesty had a fever and a blood infection and advised him to return to the hospital for further treatment and a blood examination.
