PHITSANULOK - A Myanmar man was detained by police late last night after he was found drunk and walking around naked in the middle of Visut Kasat Road.
Police said the man was found alone, wandering the streets. The officers tried to question him but his words were incomprehensible. However they were able to obtain his Thai wife's phone number.
When his wife arrived at the police station, she told the officers that her 26-year-old husband drank regularly but she did not know why he decided to walk around naked in public.
After the man regained consciousness on Sunday morning, he told the police that he took off his clothes because the weather was hot.
Police said he was not assaulted or robbed, and was later released from the station.
