Siriraj Hospital looked small again on Monday as huge crowds gathered to pray for the good health of His Majesty the King.

Well-wishers returned to the hospital after the King did Sunday, along with Her Majesty the Queen, for routine medical checks after a 20-day stay at Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin district in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Many joined a merit-making ceremony to mark Visakha Bucha Day at temples in the morning before going to the hospital while  others came directly there from the provinces.

Pranom Sriphoom told the Naew Na that she and seven other friends rented a van from Phra Phutthabat district in Saraburi province to Siriraj on Monday morning to sign well-wishing messages for the monarch.

The well-wisher ceremony for His Majesty will be open from 8am to 6pm Tuesday, according to the Royal Household Bureau. It has prepared the 100th Year Siriraj Centennial Hall for people to write in wish books.

Results of medical tests on the King showed normal results, according to a statement released by the bureau on Monday.
