Three people were killed when their car slammed into a park truck on Rama II Road in Samut Songkram province on Friday morning.

The accident happen on outbound Rama II Road about 2 km from the Samut Sonkram weigh bridge checkpoint, said Pol Maj Krittikorn Ariyanont, traffic police inspector at Samut Songkhram’s Muang district police station.

 He said a Toyota Yaris car with a Phetchaburi licence plate crossed the grass dividing strip and rammed into a 10-wheel truck parked on the frontage road about 9.30am, Thai media reported.

The crash killed the car driver and the two passengers. Police said there were one man and two women in the car. 

Police were investigating.
