Thai Airways International (THAI) on Tuesday announced it would not charge rebooking fees for travellers who change their flights because of the Erawan bombing at Ratchaprasong intersection in Bangkok on Aug 17.

Airline president Charamporn Jotikasthira said the waiver applies to tickets issued by THAI sales offices in Thailand and overseas, and tickets booked online via the airline’s website prior to or on Aug 17, 2015 for travel between Aug 18 and Sept 18, 2015.

Mr Charamporn said the waiver of the charge for flight changes will be allowed one time only, for all routes specified on the passenger's ticket, with the same ticket validity as specified on the original ticket, or by Sept 18, 2015.

Customers can get further information on www.thaiairways.com or call the THAI Contact Centre at Tel. 02-356-1111 in Thailand.
