His Majesty the King no longer has a bacterial infection and inflammation in his lungs, according to the 18th statement released by the Royal Household Bureau Monday.

A royal medical team reported that His Majesty's pulse, temperature, blood pressure, heart functions and blood-oxygen levels were normal.

Blood tests showed His Majesty no longer had an infection and a chest x-ray showed no signs of inflammation in his lungs.

Doctors have stopped administering antibiotics, nutrients and saline intravenously, but will continue to provide physical therapy to the King, the statement said.

His Majesty has been receiving treatment at Siriraj since returning to the hospital from Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, on May 31.
