The Revenue Department on Monday sent letters inviting three major wholesalers of lottery tickets to present their financial and tax payment records for inspection within seven days, department chief Prasong Poontaneat said.
Mr Prasong said the names of the three wholesalers were selected and forwarded to the Revenue Department by the Government Lottery Office.
He said the three wholesalers were required to show their financial transactions via bank accounts or other channels.
GLO sources said the three wholesalers are Sariang Asawawuthipong, Salak Mahalarp Co owned by Ms Sariang, and Pluemchit Kanitsut or Che Daeng of Yad Nam Phet Co.
