A Myanmar migrant working on the Red Line electric train project was crushed to death by falling concrete blocks in Don Mueang district yesterday.
Hong Ong, 44, was killed beside a large column erected on the project site near the Talad Mai Don Mueang market.
Police said Hong Ong had gone to get a pulley when two concrete blocks fell from the top of the column, killing him instantly. The blocks may have slipped from the top of the column. It was the second mishap on the project in five months.
