The 43-year-old wife of a rear admiral on Friday presented flowers to a pregnant 35-year-old woman she had a violent dispute with in a car park in Bangkok on Wednesday.

Mrs Arisa Panyakittiwat, 43, and Ms Malinee Worarakthananant, who is 4-months pregnant, met again  at Thong Lor police station on Friday for reconciliation.

A video of their violent quarrel in a parking lot at shopping mall in Thong Lor area spread quickly across  social media pages, where the admiral's wife was accused of assaulting and kicking the pregnant woman.

Rr Adm Somchai na Bang Chang, the navy secretary, and actress-activist Panadda Wongphudee were also at the police station as mediators.

It was reported earlier that when Ms Malinee's two-year-old son opened her Toyota car's door it hit against the vehicle parked next to it, a brand-new Mercedes owned by Mrs Arisa, who works as a bank manager. An argument erupted between the two women and developed into a brawl.

Each woman accused the other of hitting her first. Ms Malinee reportedly experienced pains and needed immediate medical attention. Her unborn baby was said to be safe.

Police were investigating the incident before deciding on legal action.
