Post Today quoted Dr Surasak Leela-udomlipi, director of Ramathibodi Hospital in Bangkok, as saying on Tuesday that the actor had been receiving treatment at another hospital last week, but his condition worsened.

The 37-year-old actor was sent to Ramathibodi Hospital on Monday. His condition was critical with internal bleeding and acute renal failure.

Thrisadee was in intensive care and required a respirator, the director said.

Hospital management planned to hold a news conference Wednesday morning. The director was also quoted as saying that people with Type A blood could donate to the actor at the hospital.

The actor was the Thai Cleo "bachelor of the year" in 2004 and has been in 30 television series since 2005. He also starred in plays and commercials, was a TV programme host and made musical recordings.
