Cigarettes in Thailand are so cheap and can be bought singularly in many upcountry shops. Anti smoking campaigns need to give people graphic reminders of what smoking related illnesses do not only to the suffer but also their families. Looking for medication such as nicotine patches or gum outside of the capital is non existent plus the import tax on what is in the country puts it out of the reach of those who smoke the most. The government needs to get serious as a high percentage of Thai youth smoke as it is cheap and available.
