Medic names groups pushing for reform

Five groups with political backing are behind the planned reform of the national healthcare scheme, says a member of the National Health Security Office Board.

The groups have been trying to change the principle of the universal health (gold card) scheme set by late NHSO secretary-general Sa-nguan Nityarampong, said Dr Vichai Chokewiwat, a NHSO board member representing the elderly.
