Just as shapely cheekbones make for an attractive face, so sunken, sagging cheeks are a telltale sign of old age.
The cheek area attracts attention because it connects the eyes and the lips, the two key structures for interaction and expression. High, prominent cheekbones usually come with a slim facial structure and are considered attractive. When you turn 45, though, the coin flips and chubby-faced personalities are at an advantage since they often appear decades younger thanks to their fuller, rounder cheeks. By then, people with slim faces are beginning to look aged due to volume loss.
