Govt urged to rethink 30-baht scheme

Academics and people's representatives have urged the government to review its policy to revive the 30-baht healthcare scheme.
They made the move yesterday at a forum entitled "The Opposition to the 30-Baht Healthcare Scheme" held by the Thai Journalists Association.
Opponents of the 30 baht levy for services under the scheme said the government's claims of financial shortages among state hospitals were groundless.
