A few months after the Ngamyingsanga family warmly welcomed their newest member, they found they were spending far too much time in places they never wanted to revisit _ hospitals.
"It was like a tour of all the good hospitals," Narisada Ngamyingsanga said. Her second child, Paron, developed chronic constipation and an allergic rash on his legs when he was 21/2 months old. "I visited all the places people said were good. I only wished that my son got better."
Even though Paron was on anti-allergy medication every day for almost 10 months, as prescribed by his doctor, the boy's condition did not improve. Narisada became even more confused and stressful.
