Hospital fails in B100m suit against mum

- +

The Supreme Court has dismissed a 100-million-baht civil lawsuit against health activist Preeyanan Lorsermvattana, ending an 11-year legal battle.

Phyathai 1 Hospital sued Ms Preeyanan, also president of the Thai Medical Error Network, in 2002 after she accused its doctors of being responsible for her son's disability at birth.

The hospital lodged the lawsuit after she appeared on the television programme Muang Thai Rai Wan on Channel 9 to speak about her son's problems.
