HEALTH4ALLCaring for the elderly
14/02/2012 : More than half of my heart patients are above the age of 65. This doesn't come as a surprise since heart diseases usually come with advancing years; the older you are, the higher the risk. But in the not-too-distant future I expect that most of my patients will be 75, or older, because people are now living longer and this increased longevity means that our society contains a greater proportion of elderly citizens.

Scars, scars, go afar!
26/01/2012 : Pimples are habitual. Although more seen during your teenage years, they continue to pay a visit at any age, anytime and without any notice. It's all good, okay, at least tolerable, if they come and go quickly. The problem occurs when they leave a mark on our face after they're gone. And of course with time, as more acne appears, the chances of more scarring increases. What's worse? If you don't treat acne scars swiftly, they're likely to stay with you forever. For those of you are thinking time will do the trick, you may be right _ only if you are in your younger years when the body is quick to recover. As an adult, it's best to procrastinate no more, and get a scarring treatment system right away, before chaos ensues.

24/01/2012 : Along with the wonders of bringing a child into the world, having a baby is one of the most significant physical upheavals that a woman's body will ever experience. Meal-time madness
24/01/2012 : Every parent wants their children to eat well _ the right amount of nutritious food, consumed at the right time, in the right manner. Everything you need to know about your assets
19/01/2012 : Buttocks are an important contribution to a woman's allure and sensuality. Shapely, round buttocks can make the waist and thighs appear smaller, bring the upper torso into more pleasing proportion, putting across a youthful appearance. Stick-thin women belong to reel world, runways or the cover of fashion magazines but ask any man in the real world about what constitutes a woman's sexiness, and more often than not, you will be told that they like a woman's curves. People everywhere are wild about beautiful rears and the very feminine inward sweep of the lower back, hips, and waist. A well-shaped derriere is just so bootylicious, and unless yours is of perfect shape and free of cellulite and stretch marks, it needs your attention.

Pneumonia still a worry
17/01/2012 : Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lung caused by the build up of excess fluids and pus in the air sacs as a result of an immune response to infectious agents that could be virus, bacteria, or fungus. The build up of fluids cause the patients to suffer from severe cough and experience breathing difficulty. The disease is found at a higher number between June and March. Statistical data from 2001-2010 revealed an increase in the number of pneumonia cases each year. Children below the age of 4 have the highest infection rate and the elderly above the age of 65 being the second highest. Therefore these two groups of individuals should take extra care and precautions.
