Container hides no human remains

  • Online news:

Photographs show there are no human remains in the mystery shipping container on the seabed off Chon Buri's Sattahip district, marine expert Thorn Thamrongnawasawat said on Thursday.

Divers had inserted a camera through a hole about 60 centimetres wide and photographed the inside, Mr Thorn said.

Although three sharks were seen sleeping inside the 6 metre by 3 metre container, this was not grounds to conclude it did not contain toxic substances.

A mud sample had been collected for further study, he said.

The committee responsible for investigating  this and other dumped containers thought to be nearby will meet to discuss the findings, he said.

Relatives of many victims of the Black May uprising in 1992 have demanded the containers be salvaged to see if they contain the remains of their missing loved ones. There have been many rumours over the years of human skeletons being seen on the ocean floor in the area.

And why hasn't there been a full, independent and proper inquiry into the Black Friday massacres and the 'missing' bodies?

How those sharks can come in, while the divers use camera's ?

    Unbelievable, literally!!

It's taken all this time to drill a peep hole and insert a camera, which could and should have been done weeks ago. Why the delay?

Time, perhaps, to remove the contents?

And we were told the container would be raised in June. Wouldn't mind a close inspection of the hinges.

No wonder many of us are skeptical. Don't blame the Carradine family for wanting FBI involvement in their case.

I notice that they did not say how big the sharks were ?
Dont think that little ones like they must have been, could eat many bodies do you.

It's taken all this time for a peep hole to be drilled and a camera inserted?! This could have been done many weeks ago.
It all adds to the suspicion that we are not being told the truth about the contents of this and other containers.
We were also told that the container would be lifted to the surface in June.
No, I'm one who simply can not believe what we are being fed.

    Great, case closed.

The bones and skulls already found must be a fantasy.
