This week's cabinet meeting has been delayed until Thursday, according to a Government House official.
The official said Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is taking a rest with his family during the long holiday and will return to work on Wednesday,
Therefore, the cabinet meeting has been postponed from Tuesday to Thursday.
On Wednesday the prime minister will attend a ceremony in which His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn will change the robes of the Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Kaew.
He will then preside over the opening of the Intelligent Transportation System Asia-Pacific Forum and Exhibition at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
