Thaksin: PM should try camel meat

Fugitive ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra said in his Twitter page early Friday morning that he would like to invite Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to taste camel meat in Dubai so he could gain more understanding about things.

Thaksin was responding to his supporters’ concern that he would face more difficulties after Mr Abhisit had recently visited Qatar and could have asked for cooperation to pressure other countries in the Middle East to extradite the fugitive politician to Thailand.

“The government should stop bothering other countries [about me]. Mr Abhisit should also find time to visit all other member countries of the Asean because it’s a tradition,” Thaksin said.

The former premier insisted that he did not have a foreign passport in the name Takki Shinegra as claimed by the Foreign Ministry.

Thaksin said he will disappear for a while as he has to visit several countries, but will try to talk to supporters through his Twitter page.

Maybe if more Thai would try a few different things in this world they would see that the Thai way is not the best way in the new global society. I love Thailand but it is not the center of the universe and certainly not educated or societally developed as the rest of the world. It has worked for them for centuries but the social stress of becoming more than a third world country is taking its toll. It is time to embrace and learn from the mistakes of others, to admit wrong and correct oneself. Take what is good and correct the bad. Camel meat is good but I have tried foods from all over the world. Most Thai will not try anything beyond a Thai dish and even then they limit variety. Same goes for any ideas, opinions, or thinking outside the box.

Why do some people still think that Thaksin is running out of money? He is still travelling around the world in his private jet. Moreover he still has billions abroad and his ex-wife and children are not without a dime.

Thaksin just sometimes says he is out of money so that they poor countryside folk of the country side will part away with their hard earned baht to finance some of the protest.

How smart of Thaksin, isn't it?

Thai people are generous. Khun Abhisit could respond by offering Takki a huge meal of genuine Thai made home cooked humble pie. If Takki ate humble pie and acknowledged some mistakes like setting up the BVI companies to avoid paying tax and the war on drugs he might find he has a way back offered to him.

Since Dubai is a Muslim city ... Takki must have missed eating pork so much. No choice but to make do with CARMEL meat!!!

Takki's invitation to PM Abhisit to try camel meat ... is just a cover up for his painful cravings for AUTHENTIC Thai pork dishes ... which are all out of his reach since he has no guts to come back to Thailand!

So, Takki doesn't like camel meat.......
In Dubai you can buy anything you want from anywhere in the world...... 6 star service.
If Takki's money is running out why not stay in the "Bangkok Hilton", as a guest of the state, for two years. Three Thai meals a day. And very good security from your "enemies".

Wow, two (2) 'fugitive'descriptors in one short article.

Those who mandated use of this decriptor at every opportunity, will be happy with this writer.

    Two of 'em.

Just part of the demonization campaign folks, and an extension of what the Democracy Movement calls "The judicial coup"
