King appoints Prayuth army chief

His Majesty the king has signed a royal command appointing deputy army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha as the new army chief, reports said.
Gen Prayuth will replace the current army boss, Gen Anupong Paojinda, who retires at the end of September.
