    Strange. Did the defendant agree to the placing of the charges? I've never heard of the requirement for a defendant to agree or oppose placing or withdrawal of charges but I am not an expert on Thai law.

    Am I correct with the assumption that on Oct. 4 the defendant must agree with the withdrawal of the charges before he can be extradited?
