Abhisit, Hun Sen on course for early talks over Preah Vihear

The first top-level meeting on the Preah Vihear dispute between Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and his Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen is likely to take place earlier than expected in New York rather than in Brussels, diplomatic sources told the Bangkok Post yesterday.

Initially, Hun Sen had not planned to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York this year.

He is now likely to be in New York after US President Barack Obama officially invited all Asean leaders to the second US-Asean summit set for Sept 24.

Dear Pichai,
From my personal standpoint, between Cambodia and Thailand there is a well defined international frontier line. Just allow the JBC to do the work of demarcation to find the correct location of the 73 boundary pillars and plant unmovable concrete pillars. So far, many have ben found.
Cambodia is an indepenedent and sovereign state. Therefore, there is NO "political nature to the dispute". Your tone is full of arrogance and condescension. Thailand has political problems all over the place, in the South, in the North and in Bangkok. With Cambodia you do not have "political nature to the dispute."

Allow the JBC to work to find the exact location of the boundary pillars based on 2000 MOU, that is the end of it. It is simple. It is non political. It saves your time; it saves my times.
