For lawyer, it's all about justice for Viktor

A private jet sent late last month by the US to pick up Russian alleged arms smuggler Viktor Bout remains on the tarmac at Don Mueang air force base while the wrangling over his extradition continues. Lak Nittiwattanawichan, the 74-year-old lawyer who has represented Mr Bout from the time of his arrest, had a chance to discuss his strategy to block the US's attempted extradition of Mr Bout with Bangkok Post reporter KING-OUA LAOHONG.

    You have to wonder at the reason for the reluctance to extradite Viktor.Could it be money?
    No....Certainly not.
    Now I can understand why no country will extradite Thaksin to Thailand.

    why should these questions have been asked?

    are you asking if the lawyer is legal?? must be to represent Victor Bout in court!!!

    I see no reasons why these questions should have been asked, after all he is 74 years old so sounds like this is done for the love of law and justice and not just the money!

    He has a law firm that is not "officially registered"? Is that legal, if so, why isn't it registered? How does being unregistered impact on his taxes? These are the questions that should have been asked...
