Tracking corruption to the far corners

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA) is a United States law known primarily for a provision concerning bribery of foreign officials.

Members of the National Anti-Corruption Commission at work. Global Integrity reports that the NACC is ‘‘not protected from political interference" because 33.33%t of the NACC staff are drawn from political parties.

In recent months, two FCPA cases highlight the fact that international bribery and corruption have returned to the political spotlight.

    Forget US corruption and its association with Thailand. The kingdom is riddled with it and it's destroying the very fabric of our lives. Furthermore, because there's no one we can trust and capable of weeding out those involved, most Thais now work on the principal: IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM - JOIN THEM !!!
