School janitor, villager killed in Pattani

A janitor and a villager were shot dead in separate shootings in Pattani's Sai Buri district on Tuesday morning, police reported.

Mahama Salae, 55, the janitor of Ban Chamao Samton School in tambon Proh Bon, was shot three times in the  back at the school's gate about 7am by killers hiiding in bushes nearby. He died instantly.

Spent 9mm shells were found at the scene.

    I don´t believe this is simply insane moslim insurgents killing people at random,as most victims continue to be ethnic malay moslims.No claims of responsibility or demands.And no investigative reports other than the official.
    Where are the journalists and reporters?

    I think we should all be very concerned about the situation in the South even more so then before. Why such a surged in the killing/muder, bombing, shooting? Didn't the Abhisit administration promised that they would solve the Southern problems in 40 days?
