Senators query Map Ta Phut decision

Villagers petition for answers from the govt

Members of the Senate will look into the National Environment Board's decision to slash the list of harmful industrial activities which need to pass a heavy review process before projects can be allowed to proceed.

Bangkok senator Rosana Tositrakul, who sits on a senate panel on corruption investigation and good governance, yesterday said she would ask the NEB and the cabinet to clarify their decision to approve the list.
