Coup leaders welcome Pol Gen Kowit

Former army chief and 2006 coup leader Gen Sonthi Boonyaratkalin said on Friday Pol Gen Kowit Wattana is a good man and capable of implementing reconciliation if appointed leader of the Puea Thai Party.

Gen Sonthi was responding to reports that Pol Gen Kowit, former deputy prime minister and ex-police chief, is  tipped to become the new Puea Thai and opposition camp leader.

Pol Gen Kowit was in Class 6 of the pre-cadet school with Gen Sonthi. He was also a member of Council for National Security (CNS) set up immediately after the coup on Sept 19, 2006 military coup that removed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra from power.

Policemen and military have NO business in politics whatsoever. Thailand belongs essentially to its PEOPLE and they should start to administrate what belong to them. The sooner the better!

    Same same, but different.

They are just passing the ball among them. I wonder what credentials and experience this people really have.

They seemed to be so "opinionated" of Thailand´s politics...it is just SAME SAME, BUT DIFFERENT.

They are frinds, cronies, relatives, etc. Nothing matter when there is no shame. Thats true.
