Party hopes for Kowit boost

The Puea Thai Party will do its best to capitalise upon former national police chief Kowit Wattana's image as a staunch upholder of the monarchy during the next national election campaign, a source in the party says.

Pol Gen Kowit is widely expected to take over the leadership of the party when a special meeting is held to elect a new leader and executive board on Tuesday. The former police chief, however, has so far declined to comment on whether he will take the job.

The party source said that in its next election campaign Puea Thai will fight back against anti-monarchy allegations that have been lodged against it, as well as focus on national reconciliation and address economic inequality.

Whether they replace the head of tail it doesn't matter to us thai's.We jolly well know these party doesn't help or improve our social life and economy, just destroying it when they are linked with the reds terrorism act.Thai's must think carefully to select the right party for the next election and dont sell your vote or betray your country.
